Xiaomi Mi A1 Restarting When Plugged in with Original Charger - Seeking Assistance

I'm experiencing some unusual problems with my Xiaomi Mi A1 phone when I plug in the original charger. After connecting the charger, the screen goes off and the phone continues to vibrate every half second. The phone then restarts when the charger is disconnected. This happens even if the charger is not plugged into an electrical outlet.

Interestingly, when I use an old LG charger with the original USB cable, the phone works just fine. And when I use the Xiaomi charger with my old phone, it also works without any issues.
